NY THOMPSON — Thompson Planning Board approved three site plans and declared lead agency for a 2,000-unit development. Chairman Kathleen Lara and the board unanimously approved projects for Catskill Vet in Rock Hill, allowing deferred landscaping through spring, and for Morningside Acres Unit 18, a 407-square-foot addition. The board voted unanimously to serve as lead agency for Thompson Hills on State Route 17, comprising more than 2,000 residential units and approximately 250,000 square feet of commercial space.
A public hearing on Pardess Bungalow Colony remained open through October 28 for written comments after a Sullivan County 239 review disapproved the project citing density concerns.
