NY THOMPSON — Planning Board approves six site plan modifications, continues Winston Estates hearing. Chairman Kathleen Lara presided as the board heard a public presentation on Winston Estates, a 192-unit residential development proposed for Sackett Lake Road combining single-family and row housing units, and adjourned the public hearing to September 9 for written comment. Board members raised concerns about traffic access and sight distance at the intersection of Winston Drive and Sackett Lake Road, preferring emergency-only access via Sackett Lake Road.
The board also approved conditional approvals and modifications for six additional projects: the Schulman lot line change, Aero Star Petro building addition, ICHUD shul addition subject to traffic improvements, Valleing LLC's Sefarady Colony, Silvercrest Townhomes, and 100 SHR LLC mikvah addition, all with various conditions and required submittals.
