PLANNING BOARD SCHEDULES FEBRUARY 25 PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR THREE PROJECTS

NY THOMPSON — Planning Board schedules three projects for February 25 public hearings following County 239 referral. Brookview Partners at 447 Old Route 17, Aero Star Petroleum at 4375 State Route 42, and Hidden Ridge Community Building and Pool at 191 Hidden Ridge Drive were referred to the County. The Board granted six-month conditional extensions for Old Route 17 Warehouse through July 8, 2026, Weiss Realty through August 8, 2026, and 218 Hilltop through July 12, 2026.
During the Blue Stone Estates public hearing, resident Ben Richards raised concerns about water quality, sewer drainage into the spring, increased traffic, lack of sidewalks, and impacts on wetlands and wildlife; Chairman Lara advised the applicant to submit written responses to all public comments. The Board also approved site plans for 97 Hilltop LLC and 38 Dora Drive.
